A San Deigo native with passion for film and aviation, recognized as one of the top drone pilots in the action sports industry.  He has logged thousands of hours filming some of the most talented athletes in the world. Will is also an internationally respected technician in the FPV community, building cinelifters for other talented pilots to utilize on productions around the world. 

Prarthna “Pete” Roles

Co-Founder / Executive Producer / Drone & Cam Op

 An LA native, Pete Roles has over 15 years of experience in film and television. From the humble beginnings of the infomercial world and ENG gigs, Pete worked his way up the ranks as a PA, editor and camera assistant on commercials and music videos. Graduating to episodic shows and blockbuster movies, Pete joined the IATSE Local 695 Sound and Video assist union as a VTR operator. Here he developed his professional aptitude and intuitive problem solving skills, not to mention a keen eye for the nuances of cinematic greatness. This background turned out to be the ideal preparation for Pete's penultimate calling in aerial cinematography. Pete’s positive attitude and invaluable on-set experience make him an asset here at West Wind Aerial.
